This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain.

Who we are

This website belongs to Sourcepoint Acupuncture, the practice of Robert Weinstein, L.Ac., EAMP, at 2366 Eastlake Ave E, Suite 330, Seattle, WA 98102. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Sourcepoint Acupuncture and Robert.

What this website collects

What you send through the contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive what you type in: your name, the email address or phone number you choose to give, the best times to reach you, how you’d like Robert to reply, and your message.

Aggregate page views. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly how many visits there are. It does not use cookies. We look at totals, not at individual visitors, and we don’t use it to identify you.

Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, this site’s hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs. These usually include your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time of the request. The logs help keep the site running and secure. We don’t use them for marketing.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your information, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
  • We don’t show ads.
  • We don’t use tracking pixels, such as those from social media or ad networks.
  • We don’t use cookies to track you or to advertise to you.

How contact form messages are handled

When you send a message through the form, it is emailed to Robert through an email delivery service, Resend. That service handles the message only to deliver it. If you give an email address, Resend also sends you a short confirmation that your note arrived. The confirmation doesn’t repeat your message.

Robert uses your message only to reply to you. We don’t share it with anyone else, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

Consumer health data

Washington’s My Health My Data Act protects “consumer health data.” In short, that is personal information that is linked or can reasonably be linked to you and says something about your past, present or future physical or mental health. This section explains how we handle it on this website.

We don’t intend to collect health data through the website. The contact form asks you not to include health details. If you want to talk about your health, please call Robert or bring it up at your appointment.

If a message does include health information, we use it only to respond to you. We don’t use it for any other purpose.

We don’t sell it. We don’t share it with anyone except the service providers named on this page: Vercel, which hosts the site, and Resend, which delivers form messages. They handle it only to provide those services to us.

You can ask to see or delete it. To ask whether we have any health information from you, to get a copy, or to have it deleted, email Robert at robert@thesourcepoint.net. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act on a request. If we can’t do what you ask, we will tell you why, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to that message. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.

Care at the clinic

This policy covers the website only. Information you share as a patient, in person or as part of your care, is covered by Robert’s separate notice of privacy practices. You can ask for a copy at the clinic.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date on this page.
