“Best Acupuncture I've ever had. Period. I was in a car accident in 2011 and have tried about 6-7 different people and went to Robert because he is located near me. I was impressed because after one treatment I was better. I have permanent back injuries, sleep, and anxiety issues and each treatment continues to make me feel better in each respective category, especially less back pain. His style is Japanese Acupuncture and he is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and very grounded. Do yourself a favor and book an appt with Robert.”

“I'm a believer. After a full year of different PT's, sports med doctors and massage therapy, Robert's acupuncture was the only thing that helped my knee pain and tendonitis. I am a professional drummer and my knee injury was really interfering with my ability to play. After a series of 10 sessions my knee pain is almost totally resolved and I can't recommend him enough.”

“After a year of debilitating lower back pain, I felt like I was running out of options. I was skeptical that Chinese medicine could possibly help me feel better, but I had nothing to lose and everything to gain, so I decided to try acupuncture. It was a difficult first step...both literally and figuratively...but I'm sure glad I visited Robert. Before my first treatment, Robert informed me that it would likely take 5-6 sessions to properly treat my injury, and expected a 60-70% improvement in my condition after that time. Beyond that, he suggested a wait-and-see approach, but mentioned that we would likely stretch the time between appointments. Before acupuncture, I felt like my body was operating at 40%. My lower back muscles were spasming nonstop, and I had shocking pains shooting down my right thigh. Immediately after my first session, the spasming had stopped and the painful tightness was gone. After my second session, the shooting leg pains became less severe. And after my 4th session, my leg pains were gone completely. Now, after 7 total sessions, I am operating at 95% and feeling great! In addition, and with Robert's help, I have shifted my thinking about the cause of my former pains...sort of a mind-over-body thing...which I also believe has contributed to my recovery. I still have a bit of tightness in the morning, and the occasional sting of pain around my spine, but my life is significantly better now than it was 8 weeks ago, and I have to credit acupuncture and Robert for much of that improvement!”

“I went to see Robert for a running injury that I had while training for my marathon. My hip was causing me a lot of pain after 6 miles. I was amazed at how much better I felt after one treatment! We continued to work on the problem and I am happy to say that my hip feels amazing and I finished my marathon. What is different about Robert is that he does a very gentle Japanese version of acupuncture, and really takes the time to get to know you. I would recommend Robert as a great acupuncturist.”

“The first thing you'll experience with Robert is trust and confidence in his abilities. Quickly following that, you'll realize his depth of knowledge and heart-centered commitment to acupuncture. He's a great communicator, teaching what he proposes to do and why. I'm often surprised, though I shouldn't be, by his refined intuition and ability to sense the chi flowing or being blocked. All of this is accompanied by humor, humility, and the sense that you are in the company of a good person. Obviously, Robert Weinstein, L.Ac. MTCM is someone I recommend without reservation.”

“Robert is very good. He really knows what he's doing. He's gentle and effective. He really wants to help heal all aspects of the physical body. He has helped me with back pain, insomnia, anxiety, and skin issues. He is very knowledgeable about homeopathic and herbal remedies. I'd say he could help with just about any ailment. He also makes you feel very comfortable, and the visits are always very relaxing and healing.”

“…He is professional and compassionate and I trust his practical and intuitive approach. Over the years I have had good results. He's currently treating me for a suppressed immune system. I feel noticeably better after a treatment and he is committed to treating the deeper cause that has been ongoing. I also like the Japanese method because it is light on needles.”

“Robert is a highly skilled Acupuncturist. He is very intuitive in his work and brings nice zen energy to each treatment. I received work from him when I was pregnant as well as after a car accident and it has always been very helpful! I also love the birds that sing outside his office window, they add to the whole experience. I am a Licensed Massage Practitioner, I've referred a number of my patients to Robert for acupuncture and they've had positive results from his treatment also. Acupuncture is a very complementary treatment to massage therapy.”

“Going to Robert for the past 9 months has increased my vitality and life in an unfathomable way. I have received healing I didn't even know I needed. His acupuncture is very gentle and effective. Through herbs, acupuncture and helpful ideas on increasing my dietary health my stomach and back pain has diminished from daily chronic pain to practically no pain whatsoever!”

“I went to see Robert for chronic headaches/facial pain that I thought were caused by sinus and allergy problems. I later found out my sinuses were fine and the pain was most likely due to jaw clenching and TMJ. I had been taking way too much OTC pain relievers that didn't always help and wanted a more natural remedy that would actually solve the problem rather than cover it up. As others have said, Robert is very gentle and has an aura of calmness. I had no idea what to expect and to be honest, I still have no idea what Robert actually does (realigns my qi I guess), but I will tell you this: it works. I went from having daily headaches with pain 7-8/10 to having maybe 1 headache a week at a pain level of 3-4. I am continuing to work on my jaw to get it (and me) to relax. The treatment itself is very relaxing and I agree with others who have said that you can feel a sort of hum throughout your body where the needles are placed. Don't be afraid of the needles - they are tiny and pain free. I recommend Robert for anyone who has pain and would like a natural therapy that works. I am lucky that my insurance will cover acupuncture, but even if it didn't, I would pay for it out of pocket. Totally worth it.”

“I've read so many good reviews of Robert, that I decided to schedule a session. I had right knee pain going on 4 weeks and having tried other natural therapies to no avail, I was eager to see what he could do. On our first visit, Robert placed 3 hyper thin acupuncture needles around my knee (which didn't hurt a bit when inserted). He then used a “non-insertion” type of needle to work on other related acupuncture points. The first thing I noticed was not an immediate reduction in knee pain, but a noticeable decrease in my anxiously beating heart. (I admit, I was somewhat anxious seeing a new acupuncturist). A wave of full body relaxation followed by a warm sensation around the knee. MUCH more blissed out than I expected. Later that day, I challenged the knee by climbing the Howe Street stairs on Capitol Hill and was able to ascend/descend with very minimal pain! At least 90% less than over the previous 4 weeks! I've now seen Robert 4 times and have noticed improvements in sleep, continued reduction in resting heart rate (by 20bpm), and my knee remains pain-free. Overall I'm really impressed with my care. Robert has a very calming presence and is remarkably intuitive. He listens attentively not only to what you say, but to the subtle rhythms and nuances of your body. He deserves every 5 star review he receives and is my new 5-star acupuncturist!”

“Robert keeps a lovely office and has a relaxed demeanor. His knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and flower essences is a great complement to the acupuncture treatments. After a series of treatments, I feel noticeable improvement in my neck and shoulders. The energetic balancing he does is a great overall benefit.”

“Amazing! Within my first treatment, experienced significant relief in my upper back pain and improved mood (reduced anxiety). The office environment is calming, quiet and relaxing. Robert shows genuine passion to heal his patients and takes time to ask and understand ongoing health concerns. He is knowledgeable, professional, kind and simply the BEST! Thank you!”

“Highly recommended! I have seen Robert for some time now at his Seattle acupuncture clinic and I can recommend him wholeheartedly. I have had chronic lower back problems for many years. Pain that is usually aggravated by business travel. Initially, I was skeptical about trying acupuncture but the proof is in the pudding. I felt almost immediate relief and my lower back pain is basically gone. I now come for “maintenance” visits once every two months to make sure that I stay pain free and comfortable.”

“Over the course of a few years I had seen several health professionals for ongoing issues that didn't seem to be clearing up. Remarkably, Robert was able to successfully correct a variety of these problems after just a few treatments — including adrenal fatigue, asthma, knee pain and skin problems. I was surprised that acupuncture could work for so many different symptoms. Robert often uses a gentle, painless acupuncture technique that does not require needle insertion. With a combination of acupuncture and western and Chinese herbal medicine Robert has been able to make great improvements in my health. He is always respectful and professional in every interaction. I would highly recommend his services.”
