Acupuncture for stress and relaxation

Regular, quiet sessions to unwind and manage stress, no medical problem needed.

You don’t need a medical problem or an injury to come in for acupuncture. In a very busy world, acupuncture can be a simple, steady way to relax and manage stress.

Many people find that acupuncture calms the nervous system and leaves them deeply at ease. Some find it more relaxing than massage. It is common to fall asleep during a session.

Regular care for stress

Many of Robert’s patients come in regularly just to relax and reduce stress. Along with feeling calmer, they often notice other benefits, such as deeper sleep, steadier moods and better energy.

In fact, this may be one of the best uses of acupuncture.

A quiet, unhurried setting

Robert practices Toyohari, a Japanese style of acupuncture that uses careful pulse reading, very fine needles and gentle contact.

Robert sees one patient at a time, so you have the room and his attention to yourself. Return visits take about 45 minutes.

If stress is affecting your sleep or mood, you may also want to read about insomnia, anxiety and fatigue.

He’ll tell you plainly whether acupuncture is likely to help. Sees patients Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, by appointment.
